Peregrine Falcons saved

One of the “buildings” we manage is actually a compilation of buildings and a marina on Lake Union/Portage Bay. Earlier this spring some very Good Samaritans (and residents) there rescued three peregrine falcons that had fallen out of their University Bridge nest and into the water. An impressive act of compassion for these folks who got the young birds to a sanctuary as they continued to be reared.

Fun Fact: a peregrine falcon can fly at up to 240 MPH in search of their prey–they’re impressive hunters and these ones appreciated the help!
