12 Days of 2020 Gratitude

One thing we can ALL agree on is that 2020 has been unique. Harder in many ways and easier in others. Driving around has been easier. We’ve all done things we probably never have done otherwise–like explore local or nearby destinations.

Our mostly pretty stable business, has been a relative roller coaster in 2020. We’ve had constant and consistent discussions with the commercial residents we manage–we’re happy to say at this point, every one of them is still in business. And, we strongly encourage you to patronize local businesses who have been adversely impacted by the pandemic.

We’ve also had consistent and often challenging discussions with residents and property owners. The residential market has been on a, mostly downhill roller coaster. The graph recently published by the Rental Housing Journal kind of sums it up.

Through all of this, the Redside team has been outstanding. We’ve pivoted to mostly working from home. We have a skeletal office staff to address mail. Our Maintenance team has learned to work pretty darned well with masks. Of course we’re looking forward to 2021 like everyone is, but we’re also very proud of the work done in this most unique year!
