There was an interesting article in the Seattle Times yesterday with a picture of one of our commercial residents, Molly Moon’s Ice Cream. The point of the article is that old style cash registers are losing market share much like cassette tapes did 25 years ago.

At the same time, our receipt of rent checks via electronic funds transfer is about 70% and 100% of the residents we have moved into apartments in the last four months have opted to pay their rent electronically.
