Home prices up as much as 20 percent over last yearMonday, December 7th, 2015
The fundementals of economics and supply and demand are not in most renters favor. A recent Seattle Times article notes the dearth of housing inventory and the escalating housing costs associated with that in King county. The Times notes: “in Seattle, where the number of active listings was down 42 percent, the median price for homes sold jumped 20 percent to $598,000…”. Without continued pressure to allow greater density the continued push to own a home will continue pushing on fringe markets.
