More interesting press on rising rents

The Seattle Times isn’t shy about prominantly publicizing the increasing rents in Seattle. Coupled with the release of Dupre and Scott’s Fall vacancy report, the Times published the article below on rising rents. There are some interesting facts here, rents are up and expected to continue increasing though at a slower pace. Seattleites spend considerably less on housing that their peers in such cities as New York and, while rents in older buildings lag those in newer buildings, they have also recently increased at a very brisk pace.
