Nice To See Rents Go Up.

It’s hard to go a week without seeing some sort of positive news about the apartment market.  We have all gone through a couple of slow years and it certainly is refreshing to be looking at rent rolls and contemplating rent increases.  While we continue issuing a fair number rent raises (and have for the last 7 months), it’s also important to remember that there isn’t ever a better time to rent apartments than July/August/September.  No doubt, the quantity of folks moving for school related purposes has a real effect on the vacancy rates.  Still, as managers and owners, we’re enjoying watching rents tick up!
